When I'm downloading a video using dwhelper why does it cost twice the size of the file even when I turn off the displayed video.

I have a download utility to keep an eye on quantities of download. This value corresponds with my ISP as well. i.e. for instance if I want to download a video (say 30 meg), I initate it and turn off the displayed picture and it will be over 60 meg that I download???

That is the way dwhelper works. You are actually loading the video, even if you turn off the displayed picture. The only way to stop the loading would be closing the tab, but I don't know if dwhelper would keep downloading

Some users had reported problem with dwhelper.

Go to the Mozilla Add-ons Web Page {web link} (There’s a lot of good stuff here) and search for a download manager.
