This article explains how to add contacts to your Firefox OS device.
Learn to manage and work with contacts in the Firefox OS Contacts app and how to import your friends from Facebook, Gmail, Hotmail, Outlook and your SIM card.

Tap [[Image:contacts app|the contacts icon]] to open the contacts application.
After the contacts application is open, you will have three ways to add a contact:
# Import contacts from your SIM card.
# Import contacts from Facebook.
# Manually add a new contact.
==Importing Contacts==
If you wish to import contacts from either your SIM or Facebook, tap on the settings icon inside the Contacts app (top right hand corner).

On the resulting screen either tap {button Import from SIM} or {button Enable Facebook}.

If you tap on {button Enable Facebook} a new screen will open and direct you to the Facebook login screen. After you have been authenticated, you are returned to the Contacts app and presented with a screen similar to the following:

This screen allows you to import all your Facebook contacts or, only a select few.
==Add A New Contact==
If you wish to add a new contact manually, tap on the plus icon, next to settings.

The Add contact screen appears.

Enter a name, number, image and other relevant info. To save your new contact tap the {button Done} button, in the top right.

The contact list appears with the new contact and image, if selected.

==Link a contact to Facebook==
If you've added a contact and they are also a friend on Facebook, you can link that contact to their Facebook info.
#Select the contact you want to link.
#Tap the {button Link contact} button.
#A list of possible Facebook friend matches will be found. Just tap on the correct one and it will be linked.
=Call or message a contact=
When you select someone in your list, you can choose from a number of ways to contact them:
*Phone
*Email
*Message
If the contact is linked to Facebook, you have additional options:
