Grok says this "is a fake/monetized search page (often called a “search redirector”) commonly pushed by browser hijackers or potentially unwanted programs (PUAs). It is not a legitimate primary search engine like Google, Bing, or DuckDuckGo." How do I get rid of it in Firefox. I can't see it as an extension in FireFox

I received a pop-up scan code to get Firefox on my phone, but when i scan or take

photo of it it brings me to an on-line survey panel that I am a member of.Is that legit or something to avoid?

When I open Firefox I get a large number of warnings. I have run three separate scans (Norton, Malwarebytes, Spybot S&D. I have then restarted my PC and these messages re-appear.

The essages state "Warning: Virus detected" "System Alert!" "Trojan Detected!

The messages try to lead me to watrixa.co.in to Scan & fix or remove the viruses. It will not let me close these warnings.

I have used build-in VPN in my Firefox on Android but recently I can't see this setting to turn it on. Same on second device. Booth are Pixel phones, localization: Poland. What happened?

I USED TO BE BOTHERED BY WEBSITES THAT COULD JUST OPEN A NEW WINDOW ON MY TABLET. I FOUND I COULD BLOCK THEM AND STARTED TO DO IT EVERY TIME I ENCOUNTERED ONE. IT WORKED GREAT! TODAY I GOT ANOTHER ONE FROM HILLSDALE WITH A DIFFERENT ADDRESS AND WHEN I WENT TO BLOCK IT, I COULD NOT GET TO THAT SECTION. WHERE IS IT?

Regarding the new built in Firefox VPN. If I have Tabs open and Enable the VPN on a New Tab, does it then affect all previously opened Tabs, only the New Tab, only the New Tab and Tabs opened after that initial New Tab, or ? Also, is there a Meter Display or similar so I know how much of the 50GB VPN allotment has been used or is remaining ? Thank you, very kindly ...-- J V

I am receiving popups - sometimes five to seven, stacked, and purporting to be from Firefox or Mozilla but having a clearly "poisonous" URL, The popups warn that my computer is infected with a dangerous virus and want to to click on them to remove it.

I do have an anti-viral program installed - "McAfee".

I went on the Mozilla page regarding reporting bugs but it is a bit above my pay grade to understand.

I've been receiving pop up messages on firefox saying something like "Torguard won't work with apple updates going forward". Is this genuine as apple say they don't use pop up messages.

I am using TotalAV antivirus which is telling me that there is no virus. This only happens when I use Firefox, not Edge or Goggle browsers.

I have McAfee pop-ups that seem to be linked to Firefox. How do I get rid of them? I have used the McAfee MCPR tool, but the pop-ups remain with a Mozilla Firefox notification box. When I open a link from an email I get nine of them. Seconds ago I just got a system update Mozilla Firefox alert box; if I click on it, I get a page to sign up for McAfee.

I receive various emails that often contain links to articles and other websites. Although none have ever been troublesome, Firefox is now preventing me from viewing them "for my own safety". How do I go back to simply viewing the stuff I'm reading about in my email?
