I would like a view by Year option in the Thunderbird Calendar. Since Microsoft Calendar tries to launch Outlook and setup a new email address when you try to use just the Calendar it has become not useful to someone who does not use Outlook. You can get the Calendar app to launch into the Calendar on the 4th try but it's inconsistent and a pain. I was trying to check a date/month by displaying the Year view with the 12 small monthly calendars like the Microsoft Calendar has and found you cannot do this. I'd prefer it as a feature rather than a plug-in. Thanks

For aprox. 3 weeks now Thunderbird asks me a short time after startup for a login.

It shows up a dialog with the text : "https://caldav.gmx.net verlangt einen Benutzernamen und ein Passwort."

The problem is, that I maintain several GMX - accounts and I've no idea, which credentials I have to enter :/

How can I find out ( without inspecting or debugging the source code ;-) )

I accidently unsubscribed my current calendar. It does not list anymore, I do not know how to list unsubscribed calendars. How to re-subscribe it? (Window 11 w/latest Thunderbird). thanks very much.

Is there a setting, like in Outlook, to snooze a reminder until "x minutes before start"?

If I have a reminder for e.g. 3pm, which is set to go off 1 hour before and then I want to snooze to give 5 minutes warning, in Outlook I would set it to remind me 5 minutes before. This works at any time up until 6 minutes before the event, regardless of when I snooze it..

But it seems that in TB, if you're away from your desk until e.g. 2.30pm, then you would have to calculate and manually enter "remind me in 25 minutes" to achieve the same effect.

I can't find an addon which does this, but happy to stand corrected!

Not sure how it happened but I've suddenly lost access to my Google calendar. On the bar on the left side of my calendar display screen there is a list of two calendars, Home and my email address, which I think is a Google calendar. Even though I check "Show all calendars" it does not show my email address calendar. And if I click on only to show my email address calendar it shows nothing at all. On my Pixel cell phone I can still see both the Home calendar and the Google calendar, so I guessing Thunderbird has just lost the link, although it shows a googleapi address when I click on properties. When I accept a Zoom calendar listing it has always and still shows up on the Home calendar. This seems most mysterious. Anyone have an idea of what I should do? Is there anyway I can rebuild the link to the Google calendar?

Exported ical file from Google Calendar and then went to import into Thunderbird. This previously worked in the same installation. The import failed and the error console displayed the attached message. Restarted Thunderbird. Calendar showed ready and is not read only. Same problem.

Week starts on Sunday. Events scheduled for Monday through Thursday. Select event set for Thursday and Crtl+P. Print preview shows event scheduled for Monday, not Thursday's event.

I updated to TB151.0 and lost access to my Outlook e-mail and calendar. After re-loading OWL my e-mail returned. However, I am unable to re-link on a read/write/synchronize basis to my Outlook calendar. I have tried adding a new calendar in every way I can think of and nothing works. I am tired of fighting with TB over this and am about to dump it and set up my accounts on Outlook. Please help me give TB one more chance.

I updated Thunderbird to version 151 yesterday and my Outlook e-mail and calendars did not port across to the new version. Re-installing the e-mail account was fairly simply using the account hub. However, trying to add my Outlook calendars to Thunderbird is proving to be much more difficult. Any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I opened Thunderbird today (technically Betterbird, I don't *think* any of the Betterbird differences would affect this) and my calendar is wider than the screen itself. I have no idea how to fix this. It might've happened because last time it was open, my laptop was connected to a larger monitor. I've attached a picture.

(I wasn't really sure what to select for the question topic; I went with accessibility because the issue is obviously affecting my usage.)

I have daily tasks that I dismiss every morning. When I open the Tasks tab, all the dismissed tasks are still there. Is there a delete the completed tasks so they don't clutter the task list? The attached image shows my list of dismissed task, all in red.

Trying to sync my outlook and gmail calendars in Thunderbird 140.10.1 and consistently getting an error I haven't seen before: "status.Settings.138". I was adjusting the width of the calendar list, and every time I clicked on the adjuster icon (that line and arrow that you slide to grow or reduce area), the line moved to the right automatically, until the line went to the far right side and all you see is the sidebar. I can't slide it back.

I have quit Thunderbird and re-launched, and also restarted the Mac. No change.

I want to use TB to access my GMX CalDAV calendar. Basically, this works fine. But completed Todos disappear from the list after a day or so ("Show completed tasks" is checked). If I export the whole calendar to a ICS file, the todos are included though.

Is this a bug or is there a configuration where I can change that behaviour?

i used the new feature to add my icloud calenders to thunderbird. that works fine. But the existing icloud Birthday calender was not separately choosable and dose not appear in thunderbird. what do do? Thank you!!
