I installed a new version of Thunderbird for my wife because her version was very old. I deliberately installed the new version in a different directory than the older version. The mailboxes seem to be in the appropriate directory but they are not displayed under Local Folders. How do I correct this problem? Thank you. Geoff

in thunderbird why is there no block only junk as emails keep reapearing instead of being blocked it would be nice to block them and not get them back instead of having to deleat them every day

I get a message trying to access my account: Kunne ikke skrive mailen i mailmappen. Sørg for at du har skriverettigheder til filsystemet, og at du har nok diskplads til at kopiere mailmappen. Hello! I just moved to Firefox a week ago and so far, I'm really happy I did. Nearly everything is better. That being said, there's one feature I used all the time on Chrome that I can't get working right here, and that's auto scroll. On Chrome, it worked no problem. When I clicked in the scroll wheel, it turned on auto scroll and would stay enabled until I clicked it again. One Firefox though, this isn't working right. When I click in the wheel here, it enables for a quick second before disabling itself. It's super annoying and makes it unusable. I found out it's because scrolling on the scroll wheel cancels auto scroll on Firefox, but not on chrome. So how do I make it so scrolling on the scroll wheel doesn't break auto scroll? I am attempting to add the extension from the official portal: idp.pki.ita.gov.om. When I try to initiate the installation from this page, it fails to add to the browser. I have already ensured that my browser is up to date.

This extension is essential for me to access important government and educational services, including those from the Ministry of Education (moe.gov.om).

Could you please provide assistance or guide me on how to resolve this issue and successfully install the "sconnect" extension?

Up to a few days ago I was able to see "View all memories" from One Drive in Firefox. Not anymore.

I am subscribed to One Drive. Every few days I get an email from One Drive with the past memories from the day of the email. I will open the emails and click on "View all memories" then it would take me to the One Drive and I would be able to see those pictures individually. For a few days now I have not been able to do this on Firefox anymore. The website goes to gray like it is trying to download the pictures but it gets stuck there.

This is happening both on my desktop with Windows 7 and my laptop with Window 11. Everything works in the Microsoft Edge browser. I can see all the images individually from that day.

I have communicated this problem to Microsoft One Drive and it seems to be a browser problem. Is there any way that this problem can be solved in the Firefox browser?

Have been having an issue for the past month or two where if left in the background firefox will slowly start to eat up my available ram. I was using it like this perfectly fine for years previous to now.

I dont have this issue when I'm actively using it, only when I tab away from it and specifically its not on screen. Once I tab back to firefox the ram usage immediately dips back down to normal. I have tried many things to try and solve this like doing a clean install of firefox, getting rid of extensions, clearing my browser cache, closing all other apps to verify it was just firefox, clearing my history, turning on hardware acceleration. Nothing seems to help, im really at a loss and I don't understand what changed besides it being updated in the past couple of months.

My computer is fairly heavy duty and I have 16gb of ddr4 ram that again was working perfectly fine to run firefox before these past couple of months. As a result of this issue however if left in the background for too long on accident firefox uses up all my idle ram and starts causing other programs to not be able to run and has even crashed my computer previously when trying to run a program like clip studio paint.

I have noticed that while running the firefox task manager there is definitely some difference in memory usage when i tab back in after letting it be in the background so I have attached screenshots of the regular usage while tabbed in and the captured usage when i tab back in.

Any possible solution is welcome because I really enjoy using firefox and i dont want to have to switch browsers unless absolutely necessary.

Hi there, Cant add a second account to TBird on new installation on new PC with WIN 11. Works fine on WIN 10 and LINUX Mint but fails authentication on new WIN 11 PC. First account goes on OK but cant add a second. Have checked all setting but cant see a problem. Please advise. Thanks John

i just installed Thunderbird on my mac and it cannot get past the initial setup. i enter my email provider username and password and it just crashes.

tried starting in safe mode and creating new profile using terminal...same issue. continues to just crash.

I find the 4 boxes on the Contrast Control/Manage Colors settings confusing. I've tried just about everything for an issue I've had for months. When I use the automatic settings there is a dark background. Visited links pops up white (readable) and immediately changes to purple so that I can barely see it. This happens on multiple web sites. Amazon and Ebay are examples.
