Thunderbird downloaded 3000 old messages yesterday ... why?
An unrequested Thunderbird download of old messages resulted in about 3000 messages downloading yesterday.
What would cause this? Did I exceed some file storage limit ... someplace? Do I have a virus or something like that?
Thanks for any advice or help. David

there is a file in your profile called popstate.dat which Thunderbird uses to "remember" where it is up to with downloads. If it get corrupted somehow what you see occurs.
