I have tried to download a PDF file from a website on my nexus 7. It saved to my downloads folder and when I clicked on it and clicked open nothing has happened. I did the Mozilla PDF test page and that came up nicely with adobe reader but I noticed the icons next to the files are different. Next to the PDF files I have tried to download is a picture of an android and next to the successful test download is a different icon. I don't know what this means or how to fix it. Thank you

HI Lauraamy,

Can you show a screenshot of that please? This will help give a good description in a bug. :-)

Actually just kidding, we are working on this and have a bug open for it, but we could still use the screenshot and any error messages you might see :-)

  • Bug 889105 - Opening downloaded PDF fails with nsIFile error

Please look to this for updates, and we apologize for the confusion.
