Updated picasa , now why can't I down load photos from camera to picasa?
long time user of Picasa to store photos, maybe a coincidence that I just clicked on >download new picasa update< and ever since I am unable to get the photos out of camera into picasa. I CHECKED THE CONNECTIONS @ camera & Laptop......nothing.

This is the separate Picasa application? I think you might need support from Google on that. Try here:

P.S. If the update installed a different driver to communicate with your camera, you might need to shut down and restart Windows to complete the swap. Perhaps worth a try before posting on Google's forums.
