I have a benefit button that raises money for charity when I use it to search the internet. I was at the top of my page next to my "green B" and clicked something I shouldn't and it disappeared. The whole search engine I use is gone. How do I get it to come back up? Thank you

Is this for Firefox on your Windows 7 system?

You might have hidden or disabled a custom toolbar. To see whether it just needs to be turned on again, you can try one of these methods to access the toolbar list:

  • right-click a blank area of the tab bar (or the new tab "+") button
  • tap the Alt key, then View menu > Toolbars

If the bar is missing, check to see whether a corresponding extension is disabled. You can do that on the Add-ons page here:

orange Firefox button (or Tools menu) > Add-ons > in the left column click Extensions

Can you find it?

If not, do you recall what site provides the button/bar? Maybe you'll need to reinstall it.
