Hi,

When I look at videos on YouTube, or other online videos for example in a newspaper etc the sound of the spoken words are no more synchronized with the lip movements of the speaker. I think it differs several seconds ...

This problem started some day ago ....

Thanks to all of you ....

I updated to FF 16.0 and now the sound sync is OK. And the update also activated the Flash  ;)

You can check for problems caused by recent Flash updates and try these:

  • disable a possible RealPlayer Browser Record Plugin extension for Firefox and update the RealPlayer if installed
  • disable protected mode in Flash 11.3 and later
  • disable hardware acceleration in the Flash plugin

I have the Shockwave Flash 11.4, (obviously it has updated it self the 8 of October).

Since I do not know how to find the "protected mode" or how to "disable hardware acceleration", I disabled the whole Flash 11.4, But the problem remain ... What can I do ?

Are you running a 64 bit Operating System?

If you disable the Flash plugin then you shouldn't be able to see any Flash content.
