I am unable to update firefox & have tried several times. I am in the US and have a Mac. Problems started a couple years ago after a routine update. Now can't access several web sites.

Some time ago, there was a routines update. Since then, Firefox has not worked properly. There are several sites I can't access or download that won't work. When I log in to Firefox it says I have an old version but my attempts to update fail. I can go to Safari and accomplish what I need but not on Firefox. I have a Mac OS X 10.5.8

Hi DonnaLind,

Do you have a PPC Mac or an Intel Mac? If you have a PPC Mac you might want to try out TenFourMac. It is a Fork of Firefox for PPC and older versions of Mac OSX.
