There is a website that I read that I am assuming is homemade. Often when I try to open a picture in a new tab, two websites pop-up in new windows and they are clearly spam. Is there a way to block these two specific URLs to prevent this from keep happening?

www.oceanup.com is the website I like, and want to be able to read, and the two spam/possibly virus websites pop up sometimes in different windows when I try to open up a picture link.

No problems here with that site. Clear cache and cookies and try again. If it still happens then run a malware scan.

Two good malware apps:

  1. Malware Bytes: http://www.malwarebytes.org/
  2. SuperAntiSpyware: http://www.superantispyware.com/index.html
