on the top portion of the page, I am having a problem w/logging out of a site. will not click off. same with emails. the first 3 emails won't check off.

On the top portion of the page, I am logged into a site but when want to logout it won't let me. The same with emails at the top portion of the page. I cannot check the first 3 or4 boxes.

Both the Yahoo! Toolbar extension and the Babylon extension have been reported to cause an issue like that. Disable or uninstall those add-ons.
