I have been trying to do my financial aid on the fafsa web site it will not let me fill out the application. the screen reads incompatible browser detected...I am confused, Firefox is by default browser so why am i having trouble accessing this site?

The FAFSA site is a bit out of date on Firefox versions and rejects both 4 and 5. You either can use IE for that site, or you can try a portable version of Firefox 3.6:

ok i downloaded that portable version of firefox but i wont even let me open it up and run the program, is there anything else that i can do?
