My Google Tool Bar disappeared after downloading firefox's version 5. This was inconvenient for me so I deleted version 5 and re-downloaded version firefox 4.0. I am now being bombarded constantly by firefox in popups trying to get me to try version 5. This is frustrating and I am about to go to a windows explorer search engine!

Firefox 5 is a security and stability update for Firefox 4.0.1 and you should not use Firefox 4.0.1 or 4.0 as they are no longer supported. That is the reason you are receiving the update notification.
