I am not getting ThunderBird for Android to work on my PIXEL 9 android phone. Version 21.0 Nothing has loaded for a few months. Not sure what is wrong but I do know Telus uses Google Mail Services and it is a pain inthe ass to logon without their interference. Might have to resort to setting up my account under Gmail but I do not want to. Frustrated Robert

Hi Rob

A. Check the app is successfully connecting to your email providers server.

  1. Navigate to settings > account name > fetching mail > incoming server
  2. Click next

Does your account connect successfully or report an error?

B. Is the issue only with automatic sync? Do emails download when you press the sync account button?

C. Have you allowed the app to run in the background and excluded from battery optimisations in Android's settings.

D. Have you changed any settings on the fetching mail page.

E. Can you successfully send emails from the app?

F. Have you taken any steps to troubleshoot the issue, such as reinstalling and using default settings?
