Have you accessed Thunderbird and updated the stored password ? * Settings > Privacy & Security * Scroll down to Passwords section * Click on 'Saved Passwords' * click on 'show Passwords. You should have more than one line for the 'Username' = email address of account. EG: * a Pop account would have incoming as: mailbox://account.... * an Imap account would have incoming as: imap://account... * There will also be an outgoing line as: smtp://account.... For each line you see that is relevant to the account * Right click on line and select 'Edit Password' * Completely clear all the content. * Carefully type the new password * When you have done this for all incoming and outgoing lines for the username - click on 'Close' Then Exit Thunderbird and allow a few moments for all background processes to complete. Start Thunderbird.
