Hyper links from a sender are not active
Emails from a sender had HTML links that only appear as text and are not active (or underlined). I am using gmail. If I open the email directly in the Gmail app everything works as expected. If I forward the suspect to me at the same Gmail account, the links appear as they should. My default browser is correctly set as links in other emails open as they should. If I switch the "Message Body As" option from Original HTML to Plain Text, the links in question are now underlined and active. I am at a loss where to go from here. Any suggestions will be appreciated.

This often happens with links sent from phones. Besides changing your view to Plain Text, the only way to fix this is to have senders embed their links in text, like this, so the mobile mail app sends clickable links. It also happens with non-embedded links sent from the W10/11 Outlook desktop mail app, which is similar to the mobile mail app.
