Messages coming in as "read" go past filters
Is there a way to mark all messages AS THEY COME IN as "unread". Messages from some sources (e.g. Temu) come in marked as "read" and thereby pass filters.

You could create a filter that sets all messages to unread. Set that filter to run first.
I can't see how that would work since the filters aren't picking up the incoming "reads" in the first place. If it's "read" the filter process is ignored. What is required is a way of setting "unread" BEFORE the filters come into it.
