When I type a shortened web address into my address bar, such as google.com, and press enter, the address automatically changes to http://google.com before changing/loading to https://www.google.com. Is this expected behavior?

If you're using iOS and have HTTPS-Only mode enabled, your browser will attempt to connect to websites using HTTPS, which is a secure version of HTTP. If a website only supports HTTP, you may encounter issues accessing it, as the browser will block the connection for security reasons.

Thank you for replying. My question is why, on pressing enter, the address changes to http://google.com first, before changing to an https address.
