I am in a nursing home and so have no control of our connectivity other than to complain to the administrator and or maintenance person. The connection keeps dropping our every few minutes. I have installed 80GB of RAM. On my Windows installation the computer seems to be able to buffer an hour or more of data so these continual drop-outs are no longer an issue. Here on Linux Mint the computer seems to know nothing about buffering, or at least I have not found a way to point to this wonderful 80GB of RAM. Can you point me to a way to access this buffer for the smooth operation of YouTube videos. Thank You, Br. Elias.
