Thunderbird freezing when creating link in Draft Email.
Good Day,
For the last few weeks, when using Thunderbird on Windows and writing a draft email, when clicking on the button to create a link, the draft email window freezes. This also happens if I use the menu bar Insert -> Links...
All other Thunderbird windows remain functioning, and I can effectively continue working, but the frozen draft window will remain on screen until closed through Task Manager.
This only happens when creating a Link, not inserting other objects, like an Image. This problem also does not happen with Thunderbird on Ubuntu.
I am running version 115.10.1.

Hi Matt, Here's a typical link I tried: https://www.st.com/content/st_com/en.html Thing is, I do not even get the dialog box where one can enter the URL.

Does problem change?
OK, I have started Thunderbird in Safe Mode, and the link creation now works as expected.
I have tried re-enabling the add-ons I had, but these have no effect, so it must be due to some setting or other that I may have changed in the past.
I have reverted all settings back to defaults for now, and will keep this issue in mind if ever I adjust them again. If the same issue occurs, I will note it here.
