My computer crashed and I lost my Firefox browser settings, history, bookmarks, etc. Had to reinstall the the whole thing. I suppose there may have been a way to get everything back, but I didn't have access to that info at the time. I transferred my bookmarks from my other browsers to Firefox, but they just show up in a folder. Is there any way to transfer all of it so that everything shows on one list, without moving each one line by line?

Thanks for the reply, but I'm not sure I understand.

I wasn't aware that lists of bookmarks could be saved, except during a computer backup. I don't know why Firefox disappeared, but other programs didn't.

Fortunately, most of the things on my Firefox list are on my other browser lists as well. I got as far as "Import data from another browser". I did and ended up with a folder added to the Bookmarks list that says, "Imported from IE". After that, I'm lost.
