I used to be able to open a password protected pdf email attachment on my laptop without downloading it. Now when I enter the password, a file loading symbol appears but the file never opens. On other browsers and on my android I am able to open the pdf. How do I fix this situation?

I am also having this issue recently when trying to open pdf's that are password protected from outlook. When pdf is downloaded it opens fine

I am also having this same issue.

If I use Firefox to acess Hotmail and GMail, I can't open any PDF file with password.

When I enter the password, a file loading symbol appears but the file never opens.

The PDF files without password open ok.

This problem happen only using Firefox.

If I use Chrome or Edge, the PDF files with password open without any problem.
