cant log into imap server on laptop, no problem on tablet, have used Thunderbird for quite some time w/no problem.

Thunderbird will not sign into imap server on laptop it does sign into imap on tablet. I didnot change anything purposely laptop was working one day next morning would not sign in, since then I have changed my google password thinking maybe that would help it didnt. So I cant read my new mail, all of the saved mail is still visible so Thunderbird opens but cant sign into imap server. Help please.

Please post your Troubleshooting Information. At the top right of the Thunderbird window, click the menu button , then select Help > Troubleshooting Information. Press the "Copy text to clipboard button" and paste the information into your reply.
