Hi, I've been using Firefox on my Huawei P30 for about 2 years now. A few month ago, I installed an update for Firefox. Since then, I've been quite annoyed, because: when I quit the app (I don't close it completely) and re-open Firefox a few minutes later, I don't get back to my last tab but to a starting page with 'frequently visited websites'. I have to go to the tab-overview and reopen the tab I visited last. I don't want that, I want to get back to my last opened tab by default. That was possible before the update and I liked it much better.

I couldn't find anything in the settings of Firefox or by using Google to fix the problem. Pls help, I don't want to switch to Chrome.

Hi

Thank you for your feedback.

So that I can replicate this here, can you walk me through the exact steps you are taking to close Firefox for Android?

Hi,

I just swipe upwards from the bottom of the screen to close Firefox. This is how I close all the apps on my phone. Firefox is then not completely "closed" but simply minimized and it can still be found in the multitasking view.

When I go back to Firefox after a few seconds, the last opened tab is still directly visible. But if a few minutes pass before I return to Firefox, the last opened tab is gone and I get to a "most visited pages" home page.

Hi

I think that what you are doing is a Huawei specific option that i have not seen before and would welcome some screenshots of.

I have tried to close Firefox (and the Nightly version) and the only way I am taken back to the home screen and not the active tab is if I close open tabs on exit through the exit button added to the menu with that option selected.
