Hi, I am working in a large company that deploys Mozilla to a customer with 10 000 clients. We want to enable auto update on Mozilla Firefox, but are not able to do that on standard users without local admin rights. When GPO is set to allow updates, it comes with atteched message to visit webpage to download a new version.

We don't have problems with Google Chrome, it just works with auto update on standard users without admin rights.

If I log in with a user with local admin rights, then it automatically updates Mozilla without any interaction by user. Have searched internet and cannot find any solution.

Please help me... :)

hello, firefox updates for users with restricted rights are normally handled through the "mozilla maintenance service". are you including that in your deployment?
