I have read all the tips offered online and even done a factory reset as recommended by my carrier. I do no gaming nor social networking. Most apps are turned off in background. I have switched between 3 different default browsers privacy is as tight as I know how to make it.

Hi,

We do not provide support specifically for Android devices, but rather for Firefox installed on Android devices. With regards to popups appearing on your device, this may be installed by factory default (bloatware), and may not disappear with a factor reset. Please provide us with the make and model of your device.

If ads are appearing on websites, you can install an ad blocker extensions such as uBlock Origin. You can find them here: https://addons.mozilla.org/android/.
