I just updated Thunderbird on my linux machine, but whenever I select a message, I can see kind of a dashed border, but the line is not highlighted. I tried various themes without success. How can I do to change this behavior ? I dont have any userChrome.css file in my ~/.thunderbird directory

edit > preferences> advanced > general toggle the use hardware acceleration setting and see if that helps
