You can add another account (email address) without the need to remove others you already have created. 'Menu icon' > 'New Message' > 'Existing mail account' If you have emails in the account you want to remove, I suggest you move them into 'Local folders' mail account before removing the mail account. If the account you want to remove is an imap mail account and you are still synchronising with server, suggest you synchronise folders for offline use in order to get full copies into Thunderbird. Then, whilst in 'offline' mode and no further synchronising is occuring, get copies into 'Local Folders' mail account. To remove the account: * Right click on the name of the mail account in Folder Pane and select 'Settings' The 'Account Settings' window will open and the name of the mail account should be selected already. If not selected then select the name of mail account you want to remove. * Click on 'Account Actions' * select 'Remove Account' from the drop down list. * click on 'OK' to save and close 'Account Settings' window. see image below as guide.
