After update, Mozilla does not appear and states "profile is missing or unfinished"?

After a recent update, Mozilla used as a browser does not load. I keep receiving the same message " Your firefox Profile can not be loaded. It may be missing or inaccessible". I have uninstalled on my computer and tried reinstalling the program, clean up program, the whole shebang, and still nothing.
