I live in a multilanguage region, where the official languages are German and Italian. And in addition I have to write e-mails in English, too.

The distribution of the languages in the e-mails I have to write is quite even. Therefore there is no language I would configure as default language.

Once Thunderbird automatically selected the language for spell checking based on the language option selected in the previous mail. In this way answering to a series of German e-mails would be possible without constantly changing the spell checking option.

Since some Thunderbird versions I have to select a default language, and every new e-mail will have this specific language as default dictionary configured. This is not ideal for a multi-language environment.

Is there a configuration option, I could revert Thunderbird to the previous behavior?

I will try it out. Could be an improvement. Thanks!
