Goto about:addons >> Appearance >> Click enable on the Light Theme.

Hi! Goto the hamburger menu >> Add-ons >> Appearance >> And click Enable on the light theme. Hope this helps -- if it did mark this as the solution so others can find out how to fix this problem.
What is the hamburger menu? I have text for menu, no icons. Thanks.
