How do I whitelist a Firefox Add-on in my firewall?

Hi

the firewall blocks every attempt to install an add-on. But it should be possible to whitelist an add-on in firewall. What I need is the direct URI to the add-on. How do I get this direct link to the add-on, so firewall can be configured to whitelist this add-on for installation?

Thanks in advance, Felix

Hi Felix, You are the one looking for add-ons and so will have the URLs for whatever you find.

Note that Firefox itself has tightened up the policy on add-ons and required they must be signed. You could be running in to problems because you are trying to install unsigned and unsafe add-ons.

If it is genuinely a Firewall issue then try asking an a Mac support forum. Or a forum for your specific firewall software.
