I am having difficulty trying to import the auto-complete file from Outlook on a MAC.

I have found the "User Data" folder for Outlook, but have not been able to import this into ThunderBird.

Can someone please provide step by step instructions?

Thunderbird doesn't have an auto complete file so probably wouldn't know what to do with it.

Thunderbird's own auto completion works from the main address book and doesn't need any separate files.

When all else fails, exporting the original address book to a CSV file and then importing that into Thunderbird is a good fall back option.

And if the addresses in Outlook were never saved to the address book and they were all propagated using the auto-complete function, I would have to go back and save every email to the address book to be able to import into Thunderbird?
