This question was poised earlier but no real solution was presented. I also cannot select to use the front-facing camera on my Microsoft Surface Pro 3. Firefox Hello seems like an awesome app, but I won't be using it if I can't video chat while looking at the screen. Please help, I really want to use this app.

hello finkalex, this is certainly something on the roadmap for improvements to firefox hello, but it isn't possible to do this as creator of a conversation yet. as a workaround you could try disabling the rear camera in the windows device manager: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-8/where-is-device-manager
