Cannot access Facebook on Firefox. I get a message I have a virus. I can access FB using 2 other browers, this happened after I attempted to repost a post.

I attempted to repost a post on FB and got a message from FB that it was suspect. Now all I can do is try to sign in and I always get a message that it" Looks like I might have a malware". I've scanned using both Malware bytes and Win Defender and nothing has been found. I've upgraded and refreshed Firefox and deleted cookies and the cache.

The Reset Firefox feature can fix many issues by restoring Firefox to its factory default state while saving your essential information. Note: This will cause you to lose any Extensions, Open websites, and some Preferences.

To Reset Firefox do the following:

Go to Firefox > Help > Troubleshooting Information.
   Click the "Reset Firefox" button.
Firefox will close and reset. After Firefox is done, it will show a window with the information that is imported. Click Finish.
Firefox will open with all factory defaults applied.

Further information can be found in the Refresh Firefox - reset add-ons and settings article.

Did this fix your problems? Please report back to us!

I upgraded my FF and I also refreshed FF, before I came asking. I've run scans, and I have pretty much done anything I know to do. I am not sure if I'm bring redirected or? It looks official FB, but I just don't know. I do know it doesn't happen with Chrome or IE, but I much prefer using FF.
