In any open tab pressing ' (apostrophe) opens the quicklink search box, every time. I have tried clearing the cache and settigng accessibility.typeaheadfind.autostart to false. Can you suggest anything else short of the Nuclear options. The issue started today, 25th of June and is not associated with any firefox or plugin update. Running win 7 SP1 and firefox 38.0.5.

Many thanks, this solution works, I can now use Apostrophes and back slashes again! //!! and should I ever need a quick search shortcut it is easy enough to add one in. D
