Firefox 37.0.1 is the current as you can see on www.mozilla.org/firefox/all

The Firefox 3.6.0.1, 36.0.3 and 36.0.4 are updates for Firefox 36.0

The 36.0.3 and 36.0.4 were quick chemspill updates for security fixes that could not wait for Firefox 37.0 Release. The Release Notes pages for 36.0.3/36.0.4 look the same however the Fixed part links points to a different part of another page to what the security fixes were.

As you can see https://www.mozilla.org/security/known-vulnerabilities/firefox/#firefox36.0.3 https://www.mozilla.org/security/known-vulnerabilities/firefox/#firefox36.0.4

There was no 36.0.2 for desktop Firefox as it was already used by Android Firefox release earlier. They like to keep the desktop and Android versions the same for Release and any updates that might occur.
