Make sure that you close the donate pop-up that covers the entire page.

Clear the cache and remove cookies only from websites that cause problems.

"Clear the Cache":

• Firefox > Preferences > Advanced > Network > Cached Web Content: "Clear Now"

"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:

• Firefox > Preferences > Privacy > "Use custom settings for history" > Cookies: "Show Cookies"

You can right-click a link and use Inspect Element to open the Inspector to see what gets selected.

Thanks for your suggestions. I cleared the cache, and removed cookies from the Alternet.org site, but still, none of the links on that site work for me. All other sites I visit with Firefox seem to work properly. When I tried Safari on the Alternet site the links worked, but I would prefer to use Firefox as my browser.
