What's the point of asking on a non responsive shockwave pop up, if you click "don't ask again" and it keeps asking anyway?again?

We often see a pop up saying for a non responsive plug - in. Shockwave has stopped responding. When we click on the "Do not ask again" box, and the box closes.... we continue from time to time during the session to be repeatedly asked the same question, and have to repeat the process over and over.
