How to unlock blocked tabs

1. I do not know how to make a screen shot (never had a smartphone before). 2. Instructions in Mozilla help are unhelpful - my mobile doesn't have a keyboard. 3. I did not mention "Tab lists" or "close buttons". 4. The problem is a large grey "X" has appeared over the tab icon and will not permit me to either open a new tab or access existing tabs. The tab icon is behaving as if it is locked.

For information, there is a horrid fix to this, disinstall completely FFX for Android, re-install it using a different browser and lose all the bookmarks.

2. Finally please post which Android phone or tablet you are using and what version of the Android operating system you are using (Gingerbread?, Ice Cream Sandwich?)
