Latest Firefox does not work with Newest Google Maps Send to Car

On 14-July-2014, tried to send an address to my Nissan car using the Newest Google Maps Send to Car feature with Firefox 30.0. Does not work, says it sent, but car does not receive. Was able to switch over the Windows7 IE9 and perform the same task and it sent and was received by car okay.

Also read in other forums this task works in Chrome. Would prefer to use Firefox since I use Firefox for all my other web browsing. Please Fix!!!

Chances are an add-on might be needed to add that feature to Firefox, that it may not be something that Mozilla wishes to add to Firefox as part of the base package.
