Hi. My internet with firefox is 1/20:th of what it shuld be. I reinstall Firefox with same speed as result. Latest uppdate two days ago I got, made the speed go back to normal for one day, then back to slow speed?? My internet speed is what is shuld be when I use Explorer so its not my internet or hardware thats acting upp. I use F-secure, but cant find any nasty software. I have a Laptop with Firefox and there the speed is correct. I try to compare the settings of my desktop vs laptop in Firefox with no result. I dont know how long this has been, but I notis it when I uppdated Adobe Flashplayer some time back. But I dont think it that becaus my speed is right when I use Explorer, and when im gaming online.

Chosen solution

First, try to reset Firefox. Refresh Firefox - reset add-ons and settings. This simple step will eliminate many Firefox problems with only one click.

Then, if Firefox is still slow, try to reconfigure any security software/firewall you might have to allow Firefox. These (F0secure in particular) seem to cause this issue often.

Which security software (firewall, anti-virus) do you have?

Make sure that it isn't restricting Firefox in any way.

Note that "Reset" creates a new profile and tries to import some settings from the old profile leaving the old profile intact, including the cache folder that can take up to 1 GB.

Yepp, is F-secure thats the problem. I turn it off and its the right speed. Will look at settings to fix it. Thanks
