My laptop crashed and I am doing a restore, do I then need to reinstall Mozilla/Firefox to get everything back, including Pocket and bookmarks?
My laptop crashed. I am in the process of restoring from a backup service. Should I just do a new install from Mozilla/Firefox? Will I get everything back? Including Pocket and bookmarks?

Hi, Not knowing what your doing but possibly things will be lost like Pocket. Just Grab a copy of your Profile and stick it some where other than the drive getting backed up.

Tech support Deleted everything on my Acer laptop and reinstalled Windows 10. I am now doing a restore (which will take it seems a couple of days) from my backup service (Carbonite). But I have an account with Firefox, Netflix, etc . . . . . Do I have to notify them or should i just do a new install? And is Pocket backed up in the cloud by Firefox or maybe Carbonite backed it up?
Does that backup include the Firefox profile folder?
Location used for the main profile that keeps your personal data in "AppData\Roaming" (Root Directory on about:profiles).
- C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\<profile>\
Thanks. When the restore is done I will look for that Profile folder. It was backed up.

Hi TW46, you may want to set Windows to show hidden files and folders. That will make it easier to explore backups and restored files.

Did you use the same Windows user name as before? If not, your Firefox data might be restored under the previous user name instead of your current one (which would be relevant when looking for your Firefox profile folder).
