Since I went to v57 my browser is chewing up resources and I am getting flooded with symcd error in Malwarebytes. How do I fix this?
Since I went to v57 (Windows 10) my browser is chewing up CPU resources and I am getting flooded with symcd errors in Malwarebytes.
Everything was working fine prior to the browser upgrade AND I have not made any other changes to my desktop.
Please help me with instructions on how to fix this problem.

I can only help you with the malwarebytes problem. It is a false positive. Do a manual update of Maywarebytes database. It should solve that problem.
