I recently updated from FF 51.0.1 (32Bit) to FF52 then FF53. On both of these updates when I attempt to log on to my web mail server A pop up box appears to advise me that the web site may be unsafe. I understand and appreciate the warning but these later versions mean that my log-in user name is not remembered and I have to type it in each time I log-in to my email server. This inconvenience is a nuisance. This message could be less intrusive.

Any help would be very much appreciated.

https://support.mozilla.org/t5/Protect-your-privacy/Insecure-password-warning-in-Firefox/ta-p/27861 There is a hidden preference to turn off the warning on the login form if it really annoys you and you think it will never be of value. Here's how: security.insecure_field_warning.contextual.enabled = False security.insecure_password.ui.enabled = False

Type about:config<enter> in the address bar. If a warning screen comes up, press the Be Careful button. At the top of the screen is a search bar.
