You know what you have done. You have removed the ability to remove "view pocket list" from the bookmarks menu. I want to remove it and I don't want to load a bs add-on like menu wizard to do it. I don't need a "new way of bookmarking" or a new way of walking. I want to get rid of pocket list.

You can move the Pocket button on the toolbar to the Customize palette or use the right-click context menu (Remove from ...). This should remove the pocket menu entries as the pocket initialization code checks if the button is in the palette and otherwise creates the menu items.

There is no "Remove from". That is the point of my comment to mozilla. There used to be one, but version 51.0.1 (32 bit) does not have it. This has to be a deliberate decision by the programmers.

Remove from is about a button on the toolbar and not about the items you see in the right-click context menu. If you have disabled the pocket extension or otherwise modified pocket prefs on the about:config page then you need to undo these changes to make the toolbar button appear. You can also check the browser.uiCustomization.state pref on the about:config page to see if that includes the pocket button.
