Who's charging you for what?
Mozilla products are free.
Since when? I thought they offered computer protection and charged me $39-45.

Mozilla does not for any products or projects they have on mozilla.org
Mozilla also does not have the resources to do any form of one on on support services whether by phone, chat or email as it would have been done for free.
Mozilla also does not provide any computer protection services or products in relation.
Something tells me you stumbled upon a unnamed site that claimed to work with Mozilla and they charged for any support and/or product services they provided.
There was briefly a case where they tried working with company doing email support services several years ago but it was a short lived experiment.

Please check your credit card statement for the identifying information. It may be reversible as a fraudulent charge, depending on your card's policies.
Make sure that you only download and install Firefox from the official Mozilla servers.
Do a clean reinstall and delete the Firefox program folder before (re)installing a fresh copy of the current Firefox release.
- Download the Firefox installer and save the file to the desktop
https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/all/
If possible uninstall your current Firefox version to cleanup the Windows registry and settings in security software.
- Do NOT remove "personal data" when you uninstall your current Firefox version, because this will remove all profile folders and you lose personal data like bookmarks and passwords including data in profiles created by other Firefox versions.
Remove the Firefox program folder before installing that newly downloaded copy of the Firefox installer.
- (32 bit Windows) "C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\"
- (64 bit Windows) "C:\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla Firefox\"
- It is important to delete the Firefox program folder to remove all the files and make sure that there are no problems with files that were leftover after uninstalling.

Your personal data like bookmarks is stored in the Firefox profile folder, so you won't lose personal data when you uninstall and (re)install or update Firefox, but make sure NOT to remove personal data when you uninstall Firefox as that will remove all Firefox profile folders and you lose your personal data.

While you are about it you should remove your MindSpark Toolbar and TotalRecipeSearch which are part of the same troublesome family.
Google for information and removal advice.
