pipe symbol appears in place of trademark and other symbols.
I see a vertical line (pipe symbol) in place of the trademark symbol and the inches symbol on a particular site. None of my coworkers have this issue. I have already reinstalled Firefox, and no improvement. I have tried adjusting the size of my screen. The data appears correctly in other browsers. What could be causing this?

My first instinct is that either the default display font in Firefox has been changed, or your Windows regional settings are set differently from your co-workers. Maybe check in your windows control panel and make sure your internationalisation settings are the same as your co-workers.
You can right-click on a web page and select "Inspect Element" to open the Inspector (Firefox/Tools > Web Developer). You can check the font used for selected text in the Font tab in the right pane of the Inspector.

Where would I find the "internationalisation settings"? In what section of the Control Panel?
